What is one thing that stays on your mind and in your heart day and night? Is there something that you have been working on for years, but cannot seem to get it to the next level? Perhaps, you have an idea and it seems so big that you do not even know where to start or who to talk to.
If this sounds familiar, then we would suggest that you might be carrying something significant on the inside…it is very likely that you are pregnant with purpose. There will come a time when you will need to produce whatever it is that you are carrying. There will always be pain associated with pregnancy. It will be your responsibility to push through that pain.
Here are 5 ways to push through the pain and produce:
1. Force out the Fear
Have you noticed how quickly fear shows up whenever you are trying to do something great? Fear will always be there trying to hold you back, keep you in bondage, and prevent you from reaching your destiny. That is why you have to decide to force out the fear. You have to be determined to keep moving forward and keep believing no matter what. Isaiah 35:4 (NIV) says to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
2. Find your Faith
Once you have forced out the fear, then you have to find your faith. It may not seem like it, but it is still there…waiting to be stirred up. You must still believe that you can do it, but more importantly that God will give you everything that you need to accomplish His Will. John 11:40 (NIV) reads then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
3. Fellowship with the Faithful
As you prepare to produce, you will face the painful reality that fulfilling the Will of God and doing anything significant can be quite lonely. That is why you will find fellowship with the faithful to be beneficial. We need one another. Connecting with other faith-filled, positive Believers will encourage you to keep pushing even when you do not feel like it. Proverbs 27:17 (NIV) reminds us that as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
4. Fight with Fortitude
We would like to think that reaching our destinies would be easy and automatic, but that is not the case. In order to become everything that God created you to be and to see His promises in your life, you will have to fight with fortitude. You will have to resolve to fight until you see it happen. James 1:12 (NIV) says blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
5. Focus on the Finish
Lastly, you must focus on the finish if you are going to push through the pain and produce. When you are tired, feeling defeated, and want to quit, remember why you started. You will have to remind yourself what is waiting for you at the finish line. Think about what it will be like when you see the promise right before you. Picture yourself with the book in your hand. Visualize your logo on the banner. Imagine standing in the parking lot of your new business. Galatians 6:9 (NIV) reads let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
God has many amazing things in store for you! You will produce once you have pushed through this pain. In the meantime, keep on pushing!
